And many thanks to you Mark, without your amazing program, my life would be completely different. Anyhow, how to approach this problem? Do I have to modify the cubemap texture at runtime, or whats the complete set of texture flags? Thanks. I remember there was a edge seam fixup solution somewhere, but I don't remember if it was in Blitz3D or Unity. I want to create a low resolution cubemap, but it causes seam issues. Somebody mentioned a flag 49 for my case, but then the mesh disappears completely. Can anyone help me? I need some sort of a combined- or a special flag. But right now I am facing a problem with texture flags. I have been advancing this amazing piece of software to quite modern standards. Then I decided to return back to Blitz3D and I am glad I did so. Many years later I found myself struggling with unity's slow and heavy development cycle. It's what got me into game development and software engineering back in 2004-2005. Hello guys! Thanks for the amazing program.

From this point, the social trail seemed to become less defined. Stay left here, instead of going up the right fork. Follow the canyon up as it steeply ascends.Ī junction is reached with a corridor/canyon on the right that has a boulder visible at the end. Go left up the bottom of the canyon instead. A minute up the side canyon, a social trail leaves on the right up a steep slope. At the first major canyon coming in on the left, the trail splits. Follow the social trail up canyon along the canyon floor. As the road ends, a social trail leaves on the left and heads to the canyon bottom. With good route finding the approach is very do-able without a rope, but good route finding will be needed.įrom the parking spot, walk up the old road. The canyon itself is straightforward with easy rappels, but the route finding down loose slopes to get to the canyon bottom is likely to cause beginners a fair bit of stress. I would recommend this canyon for intermediates or better. We took our 5-year-old through the canyon, and it was definitely one of the least favorite ones she has done and least favorite of mine that I have taken her through. The approach is short, but steep! Once up, the descent down into the canyon is steep AND loose, requiring a fair bit of care to navigate safely. Well, it turned out more crumbly and more arduous than perhaps it looked on paper. It has a lot going for it on paper, a short approach, a short canyon section, and only a few relatively short rappels. Crumbling Canyon is a canyon that truly lives up to its name! The canyon, cutting a steep path down through conglomerate rock, is more of a steep gully than a canyon. Gameplay staples include brutal fighting, challenging puzzles, globe exploration, and a gripping and gratifying conclusion to Kratos’ epic tale.Ĭomplex Tale – The God of War III trilogy’s grand culmination features a sophisticated storyline. Stylized Realism – Players will engage in combat in intricate, one-of-a-kind 3D environments with quadruple the resolution and thousands of dynamic lights and textures, enabling realistic muscle striations, finely detailed face expressions, and new heights of savagery and gore. God of War III is one of the most technologically advanced next-gen games accessible thanks to the award-winning production team’s use of the processing power and technology of the PlayStation 3 system, with even the theatrical cut scenes using the in-game technology.ĭepth of scale: Kratos will battle through whole armies while riding on Titans, live, breathing levels as tall as the Empire State Building, and exploring places up to four times larger than those in God of War II. Dystopias, especially, are at their most compelling when the full range of human experience and expression is illuminated against that very backdrop. I love the prospect of space exploration against the backdrop of a gritty and uncompromising setting. Space Marine Captain Titus holding a chainsword By failing to embrace diversity, Warhammer 40k games are shooting themselves in the foot. Stories are all the more meaningful when we see ourselves in them, and that’s equally true for stories in dark settings. The Imperium spans billions of worlds, and yet the stories told about it seem to focus on a very specific subset of humanity. Like any great dystopia, the theocratic authoritarian regime of the Imperium of Man is darkly compelling, but the franchise loses something by failing to represent women and minorities in its games. It lampoons everything from fascism, colonialism, imperialism, and classism all in one convenient grimdark package, courtesy of the developers and writers at Games Workshop. This is a great shame, since, at its best, Warhammer 40k stands as some of the most compelling satire that the United Kingdom has ever produced. From the augmented super-soldiers of Warhammer 40k: Space Marine to the stoic Imperial Navy captains of Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2, it’s no surprise that the setting can be rather offputting to some. Warhammer 40,000 sure has a lot of loud, shouty men. Rogue Trader and retinue posing dramatically |
